Todd Barry is one of the few people who are hilarious AND adorable. For most people, it's one or the other. Todd is both. Hilarious AND adorable.

Todd Andrew Barry was born on March 26, 1964 in the Bronx, NY. He got a BA in English at the University of Florida. Todd Barry first performed comedy in 1987 at Coconut's Comedy Club in North Miami, Florida. However, before he was in comedy Todd worked as a substitute teacher, tennis court maintenance, a clerk at a VD clinic, and a drummer. Yes, he really was a clerk at a VD clinic.

Todd was a Jury Award winner (for stand up comedy) in the 1998 U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Todd has been a guest on nearly every late night show you can think of, including three appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman," ten appearances on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," NBC's "Late Friday," and Comedy Central gave him his own half hour special on "Comedy Central Presents." Not enough for you? Then how about this...

His acting credits include HBO's "Larry Sanders Show" and "Sex and the City," ABC's "Spin City," and a featured role in the movie "Road Trip." He has also had a recurring character role on Comedy Central's "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist" as the voice of, well... "Todd." And yes, he really was a clerk at a VD clinic.

Once you've seen a live performance from Todd, it's certain you'll agree that he is both hilarious and adorable...ok, and a little twisted.

In Greek mythology, Ariadne was the daughter of King Minos of Crete and of his queen, Pasiphae. She fell in love with the Athenian hero Theseus when he came to Crete. Theseus was one of a group of youths and maidens who were to be fed to the Minotaur. Half bull and half man, the Minotaur was kept in a maze called the Labyrinth. Before Theseus entered it, Ariadne helped him by giving him a ball of yarn. He used the yarn to leave a trail by which he could find his way out. Theseus succeeded in killing the Minotaur and escaping the Labyrinth. Ariadne then fled with Theseus when he sailed back to Athens.

There are different versions of the rest of Ariadne's story. In one version, she was abandoned by Theseus on the island of Naxos while she slept on the shore. There Dionysus (Bacchus)* found her and decided to make her his wife. In another version, after arriving on Naxos, Ariadne was killed by Artemis* but then found by Dionysus, who asked Zeus* to make her immortal so that he could marry her. Dionysus and Ariadne were married on Naxos. Two festivals were held in honor of Ariadne: one celebrating her marriage and one mourning her death. The couple had three sons.

This ARM Powered robot was designed, built and programmed by Mike Dobson and David

Gilday, creators respectively of CubeStormerhttp://youtu.be/eaRcWB3jwMo and Android

The mechanics are constructed entirely from LEGO, including four MINDSTORMS NXT kits,

with the addition of a Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone running a custom Android app as the

robot's brain. Both the MINDSTORMS NXT kits and the Samsung Galaxy SII use a variety of

ARM --based processors.

The app uses the phone's camera to capture images of each face of the Rubik's Cube

which it processes to determine the scrambled colours. The solution is found using an

advanced two-phase algorithm, originally developed for Speedcuber, enhanced to be

multi-threaded to make effective use of the smartphone's dual-core ARM Cortex-A9

1.2GHz processor. The software finds an efficient solution to the puzzle which is

optimised specifically for the capabilities of the four-grip mechanism. The app

communicates via Bluetooth with software running on the ARM microprocessors in the

LEGO NXT Intelligent Bricks which controls the motors driving the robot. During the

physical solve, the app uses OpenGL ES on the phone's ARM Mali-400 MP GPU to display a

graphical version of the cube being solved in real time.

Human speedcubers' solve times only include the physical manipulation of the cube and

don't include some time which is allowed to "inspect" the cube beforehand. Times

recorded by CubeStormer II are for the total solve including: image capture, software

solution calculation and physical solve.

"Dream Attic" album with the second half given over to songs reaching back as far as

his first solo album "Henry The Human Fly" and up to recent releases such as "Sweet

Warrior" and "The Old Kit Bag". Thompson's distinctive voice and unmistakeable

guitar style are well to the fore and his band are as good as it gets. This will be a

must-have purchase for any Richard Thompson fan. As Bonus Features we also

include two tracks filmed at the 2011 Cambridge Folk Festival: "Uninhabited Man" and

"Johnny's Far Away".

The Wrecking Crew Orchestra come from Japan and collectively they have done

something quite spectacular with their dance routines. Instead of the usual eight men

on stage we have a cross between Tron and a zoetrope. While they dance they wear

electroluminescent light suits.

Take the perfect synchronization of their dance routines and the latest electronic

wizadry and what you get is a simply awesome combination. This is a

straightforward film, shot from the front – what you see is happening is unedited and

performed before a live studio audience.

Joseph Guillotin, Henry Shrapnel and Jules Leotard became immortal -- by entering

the English language. But NPR's Robert Krulwich and Adam Cole discover that when

your entire life is reduced to a single definition, the results are sometimes upsetting.

This is a really entertaining animated video which shows that although immortality is

often desired (at the very least through your name) then you may not always get

exactly what you anticipated.

As they say, when the gods wish to punish us they give us what we want!

Toy Soldiers - Tilt Shift Time Lapse of Paris

This is a stunning piece of film. The city of Paris is gorgeous from any angle - and

this short film sees it tilt shitfed and time lapsed to the extreme.

There were four cameras used on the day, however most of the footage is from two

that the film makers had positioned on top of a building on the Champs Élysées

The film follows a military march - perhaps Bastille Day? It is amazing how you can

see the swarm movements of the soldiers: around the three minute mark you can see

waves propagate in the group because the front row suddenly stops. Extremely cool.

It was shot using Canon 5DMKII cameras, set on continuous mode. It is surely one of

the best examples of the technique that I have ever seen. Bravo!
